Santa's Lead

I reached a point in my career where I really wanted to paint Santa Claus, and so I did. It just seemed perfectly natural to me, that he would be leading a cow. The baby calf symbolizes, of course, a new birth and new life, just like baby Jesus! The nightfall color of the sky creates a great mood for an old world feel to this painting!
