Holiday Rooster

Next to loving cows, I would have to say that roosters and sheep come in a tight second place in my heart.  This black and white bar-striped rooster plays in the wintery snow - with a typical carefree attitude that roosters have.  There is no deeply rooted meaning in this painting, but it was just that kind of painting that made me happy to paint. The grayed backdrop setting, against the freshly fallen snow, showcases this prize rooster beautifully!  The evergreen and red berry wreath scream emotions of festive, Christmas, and party!
