Corn cribs have been used by farmers for many generations to store harvested cob corn, later to be used for animal feed.  I love the traditional look and purpose of corn cribs, made of wood and most often painted white or red.  The beautiful golden yellow foliage of this autumn day, against the cool September sky, adorns this sturdy and handsome little corn crib.
