The Promise of Harvest

Many Sunday mornings, on our way home from church, my dad would stop the car a few miles short of our farm, get out, and walk into our fields to check the crops. Sometimes, he would just stand there and embrace the beautiful sight of the promising crop. This painting is a result of those childhood memories.
