I love the lacy feel of the distant tree branches woven together, topped with freshly fallen snow. I imagine this Holstein cow to be embracing the great outdoors, and enjoying peaceful moments alone, away from the crowd. As a busy wife, mom and artist, sometimes alone, is good and necessary.....I feel a prayerful moment when I look at this painting, it gives me peace.
