In The Studio...PBS Visits
Things were busy at Bonnie Mohr Studio today with special guests from PBS TV Station, Jason and Steve, for the filming of a segment that will air on 'America's Heartland'! After yesterday's, 'yet another blast of winter', I was unsure of how the day would unfold. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine, melting snow and lots of mud! Our guests arrived at 1pm and finished filming at 7pm this evening. We did a candid interview in my studio and then filmed a section of me painting (on my new sheep piece!), signing prints in the studio, and out on a photo shoot of our Holstein cows. We later shot footage of supper around the table and a fun-filled evening of chores in the barn with the whole family. ( I know, this just sounds way too much like The Walton's - no jokes please!!) What a fun day - the segment won't air until August or September of this year, and we will be sure to keep you posted. Meanwhile, if you would like to see what this show is all about, you can visit their website for more information at America's Heartland . It is now 11pm, and time for me to get some rest!! I promised my webmaster I would complete this blog tonight yet - no worries... Thanks for reading, have a wonderful day until next week!
